Hello. I'm sick all throat reddened I was given the antibiotic Klabax. I have a few questions I use anticoceptions in the form of tablets currently I am in 1 day break. I took novynette but the doctor wrote me a new countercept. Also from Monday I start new tablets. Tomorrow I have to start taking an antibiotic even in this break the antibiotic reduces the effectiveness? I know that after the end of the antibiotic I have to protect myself for 7 days. How in this case? When I'm in a break, I have to change the contraceptive pills and the antibiotic :(

Antybiotyk może osłabiać działanie antykoncepcji na każdym etapie jej stosowania przez różne mechanizmy - jest to możliwe również w trakcie przerwy, szczególnie w pierwszych jej dniach stosowania.
Należy zabezpieczać się prezerwatywą przez cały czas antybiotykoterapii oraz 7 dni po jej zakończeniu.
