Won't the congestion come back if I stop taking Xarelto?
Hello. Since May I take Xarelto 20 . Am 29 years. I had an embolus probably after the contraceptive pills that I took 3 years (from February to May). I had never had a problem with blood before, although my grandfather died of a plucous embolism. Now the question because my cardiologist now ordered to stop xarelto ie from6.12 because on Sunday I have the last pill or nothing will happen to stop taking? Won't the congestion come back? Etc. What how many days to do dedimers to check if they are normal after weaning? . I'm a little stressed by this I will add that I have to stop taking the pills to see if I do not have to eat them anymore, if the dedimers do not go up.. I would not like to eat pills for the rest of my life.

Tak,mówił że możemy spróbować odstawić i co tydzień sprawdzać dedimery. Tylko raz mi mówią że można brać tylko 3 miesiące ten lek po Zatorze inni że rok trzeba no już sama nie wiem .

Jeśli kardiolog zalecił odstawienie leku, to pozostaje dostosować się do tych zaleceń. Obawiam się, że nikt nie jest w stanie zapewnić Panią, że zator na pewno nie wróci, ale jeśli wyeliminowano prawdopodobną przyczynę (tabletki antykoncepcyjne), to takie ryzyko wydaje się istotnie zmniejszone.
Działanie rywaroksabanu (składnika aktywnego leku Xarelto) zaczyna wygasać po około 24 godzinach od ostatniej dawki. Takie informacje mogę udzielić z farmaceutycznego punktu widzenia, natomiast informacje kiedy i jak często wykonywać badania kontrolne po odstawieniu leku powinna otrzymać Pani od lekarza. Standardowo wykonuje się je dopiero przy podejrzeniu zakrzepicy.
