Jeśli przez 28 dni stosowano inny złożony doustny lek antykoncepcyjny, np. Qlaira, przyjmowanie leku Yasmin należy rozpocząć następnego dnia po zażyciu ostatniej tabletki dotychczas stosowanego leku.
Jeżeli postąpi się zgodnie z powyższymi zaleceniami, wówczas nie jest konieczne stosowanie dodatkowych metod antykoncepcyjnych.
