Is there a risk of pregnancy if I took EllaOne the day before my fertile days?
Hello, My last menstruation began on October 11, October 17, which is the 7th day of the cycle I made love to my husband and the condom along with the contents remained inside. While trying to remove it, there was contact with semen. I have 26/28 day cycles. The calendar calculated fertile days for the next day, i.e. October 18 and ovulation for October 23/24. Within 2 hours of intercourse, I took a tablet of EllaOne. Is there a high probability of pregnancy?

W takim wypadku ryzyko ciąży jest znikome.
Zażycie EllaOne przed jajeczkowaniem (zanim jeszcze zaczęło rosnąć stężenie hormonu LH odpowiedzialnego za uwolnienie komórki jajowej) pozwala zahamować owulację praktycznie w 100% (czyli tak jak było to najprawdopodobniej w Pani przypadku) . Tabletka ta przyjęta nawet bezpośrednio przed spodziewaną owulacją jest w stanie opóźnić uwalnianie komórki jajowej przez co najmniej 5 dni w 78,6% przypadków. Natomiast w sytuacji, gdy wystąpiła już owulacja, octan uliprystalu nie jest skuteczny.
