Biegunka, czyli oddanie płynnego lub półpłynnego stolca co najmniej 3 razy, może zaburzyć skuteczność tabletek antykoncepcyjnych tylko i wyłącznie wtedy, kiedy pojawia się do 4 godzin po ich zażyciu. W takiej sytuacji wymagane jest przyjęcie dodatkowej tabletki.

Biegunka występująca później niż w ciągu 4 godzin od zażycia tabletki lub majaca miejsce wcześniej - przed zażyciem pigułki - nie ma wpływu na jej skuteczność.

Soja i kotlety sojowe nie zmniejszają skuteczności tabletek antykoncepcyjnych.
