Łączenie tych leków prowadzi do addytywnego działania hamującego czynność nadnerczy (co objawia się, m.in. jako osłabienie, brak apetytu, zmiany skórne, niskie ciśnienie). Jednorazowe podanie leku Metmin w dniu inhalacji z Nebbudu nie zaszkodzi, jednak jeśli taka kuracja miałaby być długotrwała, należy skonsultować się z lekarzem pediatrą.
