5 godzinne opóźnienie w przyjęciu 12 tabletki Slinda nie wpływa znacząco na skuteczność terapii. Ryzyko obniżenia skuteczności antykoncepcyjnej jest duże jeśli do opóźnienia dojdzie w 1 lub 3 tygodniu danego cyklu przyjmowania tabletek.
Istnieje bardzo małe ryzyko ciąży nawet jeśli do stosunku doszło dzień przed opisaną pomyłką.
Mimo wszystko producent zaleca stosowanie prezerwatywy przez kolejne 7 dni przyjmowania tabletek.
