Does the use of 20 birth control pills instead of 21 affect pregnancy protection?

Hi, by chance I took 2 two-component contraceptive pills in one day. Will 20 days instead of a 21-day tablet period affect pregnancy protection? Today I start a new pack after a 7-day break. Am I protected from pregnancy or should I apply additional protection for 7 days? I took the tablets without taking a break for bleeding, but i got a bleeding that lasted 15 days, and after 5 days after the bleeding ended (during the 7-day break) I got 3 days of bleeding which was very painful. Should I be worried? Thank you for your reply
