Is a 1.5-2 hour difference in taking birth control pills a significant time?
Good morning, I take Orlifique birth control pills regularly. If I had a relationship during which my partner ended up in me and later took another blister tablet with a 1.5h delay, should I be worried? The next day I took the tablet at a fixed time, without delay. Is the 1.5-2h difference in taking the tablets a significant time? This is quite a fresh matter for me, and i am still sometimes worried. Thank you in advance for your reply

Jednorazowe opóźnienie w przyjęciu tabletki antykoncepcyjnej wynoszące 1,5 godziny nie powoduje zaburzenia działania tabletki. W przypadku tabletek Orlifique, jeśli minęło mniej niż 12 godzin od pominięcia tabletki, ochrona przed zajściem w ciążę nie jest zmniejszona. Należy przyjąć tabletkę jak najszybciej po przypomnieniu sobie o pominięciu dawki, a kolejne tabletki o zwykłej porze.
Jeśli przyjmuje Pani tabletki Orlifique systematycznie i prawidłowo, to preparat zapewnia wysoka ochronę przed ciążą.
