Are frequent intracyclic spotting with associated diarrhea and abdominal pain normal?

Is continuous bleeding normal on these tablets? Tablets I started taking with the first day of menstruation, the first period lasted 10 days. Then after a few days I got bleeding again, then a few days of spotting and again bleeding already from withdrawal. At the second package I had a few days break and then again I got a "period". Are such frequent bleeding when taking contraception normal? Won't I lose too much blood?
