What should I do if I take an 8-day break from using Vibin mini active tablets?
Good morning, a month ago I started taking Vibin Mini birth control pills. After taking 18 tablets, the doctor recommended a break for tests that turned out to have a good result, so I started taking the tablets again. By the end of the previous blister there were 3 active tablets, after omitting them there was bleeding, today is 4 days of bleeding and 8 days since the last tablet from the previous pack. Today I took the first tablet from the new packaging. Will protection begin after 7 days of using the tablets? Thank you for your reply and greetings.

Ponieważ przerwa w stosowaniu tabletek aktywnych była dłuższa niż 7 dni - w takiej sytuacji ochrona może być zmniejszona podczas całego następnego cyklu (całego opakowania) przyjmowania tabletek. W takiej sytuacji należy zastosować dodatkową antykoncepcję w postaci prezerwatywy podczas całego drugiego opakowania tabletek (nie tylko przez pierwsze 7 dni).
Ochrona będzie zachowana dopiero podczas przyjmowania tabletek z trzeciego opakowania.
