Are brown spots normal when using contraception?

Hi, I started taking contraceptive pills Activia Daily . As recommended by my gynecologist on the first day of the period 10.05 And today it is already 18.05 And further appear to me brown dark spotting. Do I have reason to fear that there is something wrong? Is that normal? If so, how long does such sting last?
