Am I pregnant if the blood HCG beta score was 5.3 mIU/ml and the next test was 2.3 mIU/ml?
Hi hello :* I should get a period of 25.03 but it did not happen, two negative tests, on Wednesday (31.03) I did HCG and came out 5.30 mUl. In the description: under 5- no pregnancy, above 5- pregnancy. Do you think it could be pregnancy? I do not see another reason for the lack of menstruation, I also want to repeat hcg today (Friday 02.04), see if it grows 🙊🙈 I will add that the first time so I am so late 🤔 I greet you all 😗 and thank you for your reply 🙂🙃 You wrote me that this early pregnancy results of the second hcg 2.30, how do you understand it? It may be that it is not pregnancy? Or an early miscarriage? Is the doctor already able to confirm the pregnancy or find that it is not there at all or that it has been lost?

Wynik nieco powyżej 5 mIU/ml może świadczyć o wczesnej ciąży, jednak skoro kolejne badanie dało wynik 2,3 mIU/ml - świadczy to o tym, iż nie jest Pani w ciąży. Najprawdopodobniej pierwszy wynik oscylujący w graniach 5 mIU/ml również oznaczał brak ciąży, beta HCG w ciąży może wzrastać o 66-100% co 2 dni, dlatego spadek stężenia beta HCG tym bardziej może oznaczać, iż powodem braku miesiączki nie jest ciąża.
Taki spadek najprawdopodobniej nie świadczy o poronieniu, gdyż w takiej sytuacji stężenie hormonu ciążowego może utrzymywać się przez dłuższy czas, nie spada tak szybko, ponadto powinny mu towarzyszyć również jakiekolwiek niepokojące objawy.
Oczywiście wyniki te należy omówić z ginekologiem.
