Węgiel aktywny jest lekiem dostępnym bez recepty, stosowanym w biegunkach i zatruciach niektórymi lekami i substancjami.
Preparatu nie powinno się stosować dłużej niż 7 dni. Jeśli dolegliwości nie ustąpią do tego czasu, polecam kontakt z lekarzem, ponieważ węgiel aktywny może powodować zaburzenia żołądkowo-jelitowe np. wymioty i zaparcia.
