Am I still protected after putting on my first contraceptive patch on July 1 and having sex without ejaculation on July 4?
I accidentally placed my patch in an awkward place (shoulder blade and my arm) and it looks like this. i also had unprotected sex yesterday (4th of july but no ejaculating inside). This is my first patch after the bleeding (placed on the 1st july)
Just want to know if im still protected. Would apreciate some help

The patch is applied correctly, its effect is preserved and there is no reason to worry.
Dirt collecting on its edges does not affect the effectiveness and protection is maintained. It is important that the patch adheres to the skin and does not fall off. The fact that, for example, you walk while moving also does not affect the effectiveness of therapy.
The 4th of July intercourse is also not a threat, as it took place without ejaculation. Contraceptive protection is maintained.
