Can Yasminelle cause mood swings and panic attacks?
Hello a question I took yasminelle for 4 months only for contraception then left it for a month and now I'm resuming it but on the fifth day of the pill I got anxiety panic attacks and mood change can it be??

Hormonal contraception (also Yasminelle) can cause mental disorders such as emotional instability (a common side effect) and depression, nervousness, sleep disorders (not a very common side effect). The severity of the symptoms may vary from patient to patient. A consultation with a gynaecologist and a change of medication are indicated.
