Captopril Jelfa is a drug with a rapid but short-term effect, usually used in situations of emergency pressure spikes. The standard dosage for hypertension treatment is to maintain at least 8 to 12 hours between doses, but in emergencies, the doctor may recommend a different frequency.

Please note that this medicine should be taken about one hour before a meal to ensure optimal absorption. If, despite taking a dose of 12.5 mg, your blood pressure does not stabilise within an hour or is accompanied by symptoms such as severe headache or shortness of breath, contact your doctor immediately instead of taking another dose on your own.
