Isotrexin (gel) has not been produced or supplied to wholesalers for a long time. You will not find it in brick-and-mortar or online pharmacies because its registration has expired (manufacturer's decision).
Since Isotrexin does not have a direct "ready-made" substitute (an identical gel with the same composition under a different name), your doctor may prescribe two preparations – one with a retinoid and the other with an antibiotic. They are then usually used at different times of the day.
There are also more modern gels with a similar profile of action, e.g. combining an antibiotic with another retinoid (e.g. clindamycin + tretinoin) or benzoyl peroxide.
