The decision on the dosage method is made by the doctor prescribing the treatment. Skudexa is a drug that works for about 6-8 hours (the effect of tramadol can last even longer). Effentora is a preparation intended for emergency use in breakthrough pain. It works faster, stronger and shorter than Skudexa. Both drugs contain active substances belonging to the group of opioids. Concomitant use of these drugs is fraught with the risk of side effects (respiratory disorders, increased sedation, confusion), so it is imperative to follow the dosage set by the doctor (and in particular - do not increase the dose of the drug on your own). In the case of very severe pain, the use of long-acting drugs and a stronger short-term product is practiced.
