In the case of difficult-to-heal wounds in a patient with diabetes, I encourage you to consult a doctor. The occurrence of diabetes is a factor hindering wound healing. The doctor will assess, m.in, the depth of the wound and, depending on, for example, the location of the wound, will recommend appropriate dressings/preparations and propose the correct treatment regimen.

It is important to properly process the wound, as well as clean and prepare it. Then, according to the doctor's recommendations, it is possible to apply the recommended ointment or apply an appropriate dressing.
