Zolafren-Swift and Amipride are medicines used to treat schizophrenia (as well as in other psychiatric cases if your doctor considers it necessary to carry out such treatment). Zolafren has a slightly broader effect because it has an affinity for more receptors. Amipride, in addition to its antipsychotic effect, also relieves symptoms such as mood decline or slowness. The doctor may prescribe treatment with both drugs in order to obtain a comprehensive pharmacological response in the patient. If both medicines have been prescribed by the same doctor, the dosage recommendations should be followed. In the event that medication has been prescribed by different specialists, you should consult a psychiatrist again.
