Should I take an extra Teenia tablet if I vomited 4 hours after taking the medicine?
12.99 zł

Good morning, yesterday around 7:30 p.m. I took the Teenia contraceptive pill (12 pills in a blister) and around 11:45 p.m. I had vomiting - I wanted to ask if the pill had time to be absorbed, or maybe I should take an additional pill ?

Recommendations for taking an additional Teenia tablet in case of gastrointestinal complaints:

"In the event of severe gastrointestinal disorders (e.g. vomiting and diarrhoea), the absorption of the product may not be complete and additional contraceptive methods should be used. If vomiting occurs within 3-4 hours after taking the tablet, take a new (additional) tablet immediately."

In this case, vomiting occurred approximately 4 hours after taking the contraceptive pill. If you want to be sure that the effect of contraception has not been disturbed, you should take an additional dose of the drug (preferably before 12 hours after the regular time of taking the pills).
