Good morning,
I have been prescribed the antibiotic Sumamed, and I take the drug Ivabradine on a daily basis. My doctor advised me to replace Ivabradine with Nebilet while I was taking Sumamed to avoid interactions. I took the last Iwabardine today at 1.30 at night, at what time can I safely take Sumamed so that there are no interactions?

Sumamed can be taken 24 hours after the last dose of ivabradine, as directed by your doctor. Sumamed (azithromycin) and ivabradine may have potential interactions, so your doctor recommended replacing ivabradine with the beta-blocker Nebilet when taking Sumamed, which is a prophylactic action.
Since you took your last dose of Iwabradine at 1:30 a.m., Sumamed can be safely started after the daily interval, i.e. at the earliest around 1:30 a.m. the next day, as Iwabradine has an action time of about 24 hours. In practice, however, it is recommended to follow the doctor's recommendations for changing medication and consult in case of any doubts.
