Can Pregabalin affect bleeding with Belara tablets?
12.99 zł

Hello, since 2 cycles, my bleeding starts a few days before the 7-day break. It's more of a spotting and in general, all withdrawal bleeding is much weaker than usual (but painful). I've been taking Belare for 2 years now, but since August I've been using pregabaline in fairly high doses and it seems to me that this may be related.

Yes, Pregabalin affects hormonal balance, hence it can alter the intensity of withdrawal bleeding, increases the risk of spotting and intracyclic bleeding, etc. However, this drug does not affect the effectiveness of birth control pills. Protection is maintained at all times.

Any side effects you observe should be reported to your doctor who will decide on further action.
