If you miss 7 tablets, stop the cycle and resume the drug on the first day of the next cycle (1 day of menstruation). In the situation described, the manufacturer recommends consulting a doctor. Such a long break interferes with the mechanism of action and contraceptive effectiveness of the drug. You should not experience side effects associated with sudden discontinuation of the pills. You should use another form of protection during intercourse (e.g. a condom) until you resume regular contraception. If the problem with controlling the use of the drug occurs more often, it is worth considering changing the method of protection, e.g. to a vaginal ring or intrauterine coil.
