Can I replace Edarbi with Avedol if it has stopped working?

Edarbi (azilsartan) and Avedol (carvedilol) are drugs with different mechanisms of action – the first is sartan, the second is a beta-blocker. You should not change your hypertension medications on your own, as they require individual adjustment.

In this situation, please contact your doctor, who will assess the cause of the ineffectiveness of the therapy and select the appropriate treatment. If you are not able to make a face-to-face visit, I attach a link to the online teleconsultation:
