I have hyperandrogenism, hormones that are too high, androgens, can I put on a hormonal IUD? Will this reduce the effectiveness of the Kyleena insole?

Kyleena acts mainly locally in the uterus, releasing small amounts of a hormone (levonorgestrel) that has minimal effect on blood hormone levels. It may slightly alter progesterone levels, but it should not significantly affect testosterone, SHBG, androstenedione, or DHEAS levels.
