Is it normal to bleed during the second pack of Vixpo after missing placebo pills?
9.99 zł

Hello, I take 2 packs of vixpo. Earlier, I had taken other contraceptive pills and by changing them, I combined two packages, omitting the placebo pills. At the end of the first package of vixpo I got my period as I should, but from the 15th active tablet there was bleeding again, which has been going on for 6 days. Is this normal? Will I have withdrawal bleeding?

If there is no withdrawal bleeding after heavy mid-cycle bleeding, it may be the result of hormonal instability related to, for example, switching the hormonal axis to contraceptive pills, skipping pills or irregular use of contraception.

It is worth ruling out pregnancy by taking a pregnancy test, especially if possible. Other factors, such as stress or lifestyle changes that affect your cycle, can also be the cause. If the situation repeats itself or causes anxiety, it is worth consulting a doctor to discuss a possible change of the preparation or diagnose the cause.

Yes, mid-cycle bleeding can occur after combining contraceptive packs, especially when switching products.

The body needs time to adapt to new hormones, which often results in spotting or bleeding. It should subside with subsequent cycles. If
Bleeding persists or intensifies, it is worth consulting a doctor.
