On what basis do you think that medications taken on an empty stomach are not absorbed? Digestive or absorption disorders and ineffectiveness of the preparations used should be consulted with a doctor. Based on your medical history, your doctor may order more detailed diagnostic tests (such as a biopsy of the gastrointestinal tract), which may indicate the cause of your malabsorption disorders. The pharmacist does not have the diagnostic capabilities to determine the cause of the ineffectiveness of the drugs used in your treatment.
