Ginoring is a hormonal vaginal ring that contains estrogen and progestin. It is used as a contraceptive method and to regulate the menstrual cycle. It is recommended that you start using the drug on the first day of your menstrual cycle (the first day of bleeding) to ensure immediate contraceptive effectiveness. If you start using Ginoring on the first day of menstrual bleeding, protection against pregnancy should be immediate. If beyond the first day of the cycle, it is recommended to use an additional contraceptive method (e.g. a condom) for the first 7 days of Ginoring to provide effective protection against pregnancy.

The ring should be worn for 3 weeks (21 days). After 3 weeks of use, remove the ring for 7 days, during which bleeding usually occurs. After a 7-day break, insert a new ring and start a new cycle of use.
