I take escitalopram 10 mg at night. I would like to add that asertin and venfla did not work for me. I've been taking the pills for a month and I don't feel anything. Should I give myself a chance and wait another week, two, month, or should I see a psychiatrist right now and ask for a change of medication? Yes, I know, the effects should be visible from 2 to 4 weeks, so I don't know what to do anymore. Maybe you expect too much of yourself ???

If the effects of the treatment are unsatisfactory, it is worth consulting your doctor now.
You may need to change the dosage of your medicine.
According to the manufacturer:
"The usual dose is 10 mg once a day. Depending on the patient's response, the dose may be increased to a maximum of 20 mg per day."
If your doctor decides to increase your dose, you should expect to see the effects after 2-4 weeks of taking the drug regularly.
