Is a headache while using Velaxin ER a cause for concern?

Good morning

I've been taking Velaxin ER 75Mg once a day for 2 months now. After 1.5 months I started to have headaches, sometimes even every day so bad that I have to take some painkiller. Is this a cause for concern? I have a follow-up appointment in 2 months.

Headache is one of the most commonly reported side effects when using Velaxin ER.
Usually, the side effects of venlafaxine are most severe during the first 2-4 weeks of using the drug. If the headache is a health hazard and does not allow you to function normally, it is worth reporting it to your doctor to determine the cause of the problem.
