Hello I started the rieqo pill on March 8, 2024, after stopping the slinda pill, and on March 12 I returned my period in a heavy way. I have a fibromatous uterus with several fibroids and one of them causes me heavy and long cycles.
I'm taking the ryeqo just to prepare for an operation that I will have to do in a few months.
Is this heavy cycle normal now? Thank you

Thank you for sharing your case. Switching from Slinda contraceptive pills to other pills can affect your menstrual cycle. Ryego, like birth control pills, contains hormones that can affect your menstrual cycles.
For many women, the first cycle after changing birth control pills may be unusual, including heavy or prolonged bleeding. This is due to the body's adaptation to new hormones.
In case of a painful period and prolonged bleeding, you should consult your gynecologist. Your doctor may recommend additional tests or modifications to your therapy depending on your medical situation. If you do not have the opportunity to consult your doctor, you can use the teleconsultation here:

You can check the availability of Ryego via the gdziepolek.pl service and book it from the pharmacy of your choice:
