I was advised to switch from Orlifique to Drovelis due to high bad cholesterol. Is there a risk of new side effects after changing the pills if I didn't have any with Orlifique and tolerated it very well? Does Drovelis contain a higher dose of hormones?

Switching from Orlique to Drovelis may result in new side effects, although this is not certain. Everyone's body reacts differently to medications, so even if you didn't have any side effects with Orlifique and tolerated them well, that doesn't mean that new problems won't arise with Drovelis.
If you are concerned about this situation, it is always a good idea to consult a doctor who can give you more personalized advice. If you do not have the opportunity to take advantage of the advice, I am attaching a link to the online teleconsultation:

Drovelis and Orlifique contain different active substances, which means that you cannot directly compare their hormone dosages. Drovelis contains drospirenone and estetrol, while Orlifique contains levonorgestrel and ethinylestradiol.
