On Friday at 5 p.m. I should have taken the first pill of Atywia Daily after the bleeding break, but I forgot about it and took 2 at once on Saturday morning - did I do the right thing?

On Friday (9.02) at 5 p.m. I should have taken the first pill after the bleeding break, but I forgot about it and took two in the morning on Saturday. Has this reduced their effectiveness? Did I do the right thing at all? And do I need extra protection now? (Atywia daily)

The right solution would be to take the forgotten tablet on Saturday morning and the next one at the same time (as before). Taking two tablets at the same time means that you should take your next dose the next morning and take Atyvia at a similar time for the rest of your cycle. In such a situation, for the next 7 days from the moment of taking the "forgotten" tablet, additional methods of protection (condom) should be used.
