What if I extended my placebo interval from 4 to 7 days when switching from Vines to Lonest?

Hello, the doctor changed my tablets from Vines to Logest, he told me to take the first tablet of Logest after a 7-day break (even though Vines has 4 days of placebo tablets) only now I delved into the leaflet that after another drug I should take it immediately after finishing the placebo i.e. after these 4 days, I would not like to take a month-long break, what to do in this case?

In order to be protected, you should have started taking Logest no later than day 4 of placebo, which is when you would normally start a new pack of Vines.

If you have extended your break to 7 days:

In order to protect yourself immediately, you should only take your first tablet of Logest on the first day of bleeding.

You can start taking Logest right now (on any day of your cycle). However, in this case, protection will not be provided immediately.
You will only get full protection with the second pack of Logest. Until then, you should use an additional form of protection in the form of a condom as a preventive measure.
