How to delay your period by a few days using a contraceptive tablet?

I want to delay my period, can I take 5 pills from the next pack of birth control pills and only then take a seven-day break?

Yes, you can delay bleeding for a few days. In this case, skip the placebo tablets from the current pack (if any) and start taking the placebo tablets from the next pack.

The prolongation of the bleeding period can last as needed even until the end of taking the tablets from the second package, i.e. after package no. 1 we do not have to take a break at all, but use the tablets from package no. 2 immediately and take a break for bleeding, e.g. only at the end of this 2nd package.

Minor bleeding or mid-cycle spotting may occur during this change.
