Hello
I take hormonal contraception Vibin mini 3mg+ 0.02. I've had pain in my calf for some time now (but the doctor took care and didn't detect anything) and my calf still hurts. I did d-dimers a month ago and they came out normal, but today I did fibrinogen and it came out 5.05g/l for the reference range of 2.00-4.00. Should I stop taking birth control pills or not worry because it's normal?

The use of combined contraceptive pills (Vibin Mini) may cause increased fibrinogen levels. In this case, it is unlikely that contraception will be necessary, but the final decision is up to the gynecologist.
