According to the Azalea Summary of Product Characteristics, the tablets should be taken at the same time each day with a time interval of 24 hours between the two tablets. The first tablet should be taken on the first day of menstrual bleeding. After that, take one tablet a day regardless of bleeding. The next blister starts immediately on the day following the end of the previous one.

This dosage regimen gives full contraceptive efficacy.
