If the morning-after pill (Ellaone) is taken immediately after intercourse (day 9 of the cycle) - before ovulation, will ovulation occur, but with a delay (which will potentially be another possibility of getting pregnant), or will this pill block the possibility of getting pregnant during the entire cycle?

There may be a delay in ovulation after taking ellaOne, which may pose a risk of pregnancy in the following days of your cycle.
ellaOne only protects you if you have had sex within 120 hours (5 days) of taking it. The highest effectiveness is shown by taking the tablet up to 24 hours after intercourse. This is emergency contraception and should only be used in exceptional cases. A different method of contraception should be used for the rest of the cycle. The pill does not protect intercourse after taking it.
I encourage you to consult a gynaecologist in order to choose the right contraceptive method for you. You can also take advantage of a teleconsultation via the m.in portal Gdziepolek.pl:
