The Kostarox you are taking is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It has anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic effects.
It is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of osteoarthritis (OA), rheumatoid arthritis (RA), ankylosing spondylitis, and the treatment of pain and symptoms of arthritis in the acute phase of gout.
If the analgesic effect is insufficient, you should see a doctor for a prescription for a stronger preparation, as all over-the-counter painkillers are unlikely to provide relief and are poor analgesics compared to Kostarox.
In the short term, it is safe to use Solpadeine, a preparation containing Paracetamol, before you receive a prescription.
