#antykoncepcja #microgynon21
Good morning
I've been taking the combined contraceptive pill (Microgynon21) for over a year now, I'm just in the middle of a 7-day break. Usually, bleeding started on day 4 of the break and continued until you took the tablet from the new blister. Now my bleeding only lasted 2 days, is this normal? It's the first time I've had such a situation, I'll add that I have a cold, can it have an impact on it?

There is no need to worry.
The cause of this condition may be an ongoing infection and taking high doses of vitamin C. For the future, it is worth remembering that a safe dose of vitamin C for contraception is up to 1000 mg per day.
You are protected in this cycle because ovulation has already been inhibited and you have been taking high doses of vitamin C during the 7-day bleeding break.
You may experience spotting or mid-cycle bleeding when you take tablets from a new pack. The situation should adjust in the next cycle. There is no need to use additional contraception in the form of a condom, protection is provided.
Please take the tablets as you have done so - every day, at about the same time. Regardless of possible spotting/mid-cycle bleeding.
Here you can check the availability of the medicine and make a reservation at the pharmacy:

I would like to add that during the 7-day break, when I had a cold, I took vitamin C 2 times in a dose of 1500.
Could this affect the contraceptive effect? Am I still protected or should I have additional security for future relations?
