Clonazepam is an anxiolytic and sedative that acts on the nervous system. To answer your questions:
1. The time it takes for you to start feeling the effects of clonazepam may vary depending on your individual body characteristics. In the case of panic attacks, the effect of clonazepam can usually occur about 30-60 minutes after taking it and lasts for 8-12 hours.
2. The manufacturer recommends taking clonazepam orally with a small amount of water. Do not change the way you give your medicine without first talking to your doctor. If you do not have the opportunity to receive the consultation in person, I am attaching a link to the online teleconsultation, e.g. via the Gdziepolek.pl portal:

If you are unable to swallow the tablets, you can crush or split them. Chewing on a clonazepam tablet can speed up the body's absorption of the drug, which can lead to a faster onset of action. However, make sure that you do not lose the tablet fragments during crushing, but take the entire dose.
However, some specialists are of the opinion that the crushed preparation may not be absorbed as it should. By crushing the tablets, we lead to a situation where some of the active substance settles in the throat and esophagus for some time. It is also exposed to hydrochloric acid from the stomach and digestive enzymes for longer. It follows that such a procedure may affect the absorption and effective action of the preparation.
3. Clonazepam is not intended for sublingual use. Please don't do that.
Please be aware that clonazepam may cause side effects such as drowsiness, muscle weakness, problems with coordination and memory problems. Therefore, it is recommended that you avoid driving or using machines while taking this medicine.
Concomitant use of clonazepam with alcohol and/or central nervous system depressants should also be avoided. Such a combination can increase the clinical effect, including sedation, respiratory and cardiovascular depression.
