My mother is 82 years old. For two years he has been taking biomentin 20 mg and Yasnal 10 mg for Alzheimer's disease I notice that the drugs stop working and my mother does not remember what happened a moment ago. Are there any other medications that can be introduced or changed to make them work better on memory? Mom recognizes loved ones, can get dressed, wash and eats by herself. But he doesn't know what happened an hour or 5 minutes ago. Is there any other drug that can improve the situation?

If the drugs used so far (Biomentin and Yasnal) do not bring the expected therapeutic effects, I encourage you to consult your doctor. The doctor will assess the mother's condition and decide on a possible change in therapeutic treatment.
The aim of Alzheimer's disease treatment is to maintain the patient's independence for as long as possible, slow down the developing cognitive disorders, delay the onset of agitation and aggression, postpone the need for inpatient care, reduce the risk of other disease states. In addition to pharmaceutical therapy, rehabilitation and rehabilitation classes are also recommended, which may also delay the progression of the disease.
