I was 3 days late with changing the Evra patch - will the day of the patch change change now?

Hello. I have been using Evra patches for a year. On Friday I should change the patch from 2 to 3. I forgot and didn't realize it until Monday and changed it right away. In the evening, however, there was bleeding. Should I peel off the patch, do it on Friday as always or on Monday? Will the day of the patch change change now?

Yes, the day will change because the patch change delay was more than 48 hours. The detailed procedure is described below: "Delay of more than two days (48 hours or more): A woman may not be protected from becoming pregnant. You should stop your current contraceptive cycle and start a new four-week cycle immediately with a new EVRA patch. So there is a new "Day 1" and "Patch Change Day". For the first 7 days of the new cycle, you should use a non-hormonal method of contraception at the same time." In case of any doubts, I encourage you to use the teleadvice with a gynecologist, available on our website in the e-visit tab: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja/z-ginekologiem I encourage you to read: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-prawidlowo-stosowac-antykoncepcje
