Information contained in the summary of product characteristics: "A woman should start taking Naraya Plus the day after taking the last active tablet of the previous combined oral contraceptive, but no later than the day after the end of the typical break in the tablets or after taking placebo tablets of the previous combined contraceptive." If the 4-day break you mention is the time of taking Drovelis placebo tablets, then protection is provided from the moment you start a new preparation. If after the end of the placebo it has been 4 days before you took your first tablet, protection may not be provided and you should use additional protection for one week. Detailed information on the procedure for changing from one contraceptive pill to another can be found in the package leaflet.
