I was prescribed Sylvie 20 contraceptive pills for 3 months, and if they work for a year and a half. I suffer from too frequent, painless menstruation, and it is not very abundant. During the examination, I did not get polyps or fibroids, everything is fine, I only have elevated prolactin. Is there a chance that after this year and a half, my period will return to normal? And when I use Sylvie 20 tablets, even when I start a new leaf of pills, after a 7-day break, do I have to take them at the same time as the other one?

Birth control pills (e.g. Sylvie 20) actually regulate the menstrual cycle and allow you to control the symptoms of hormonal disorders, but at the time of their use. Unfortunately, discontinuation of these drugs may cause the return of ailments observed before their use. It is recommended to take the tablets always at a similar time, but differences of up to several hours are acceptable.
