Is the effectiveness of Slinda contraceptive pills maintained if I took a 4-day break?
Good morning. For a year I have been taking Slinda tablets without taking a 4-day break between packages. Now I took a break of 4 days and from today I take the tablets from the next blister normally. Is the effectiveness of contraception preserved or is it as if I started taking the pills completely again? Please help.

When using Slinda tablets, there is no break - the 4 green tablets contained in the blister are placebo and their intake corresponds to a break. If, in addition to taking placebo pills, you have taken a 4-day break, the contraceptive protection may be weakened. An additional method of contraception (e.g. condoms) should be used for at least 7 consecutive days and pregnancy should be ruled out if intercourse occurs during the break.
