Hello, it has just been 3 weeks since you started treatment with Seronil 30 mg. Appeared increasing acne, subcutaneous gules. I hoped that after two weeks the symptoms would subside. Is this an indication for changing the drug? I will be grateful for your reply. Thanks in advance

Seronil (fluoxetine) is an antidepressant from the group of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). It is mainly used to treat depression and other mental disorders. There are no clear reports in the medical literature about fluoxetine (Seronil) as a direct cause of acne. Acne can be caused by a variety of factors, including genetics, hormonal changes, grooming habits, diet and other medications, as well as stress and related depressive conditions. Nevertheless, each organism can react individually, so it is important to pay attention to your skin and observe whether skin problems will worsen during the use of the drug - if so, this is a prerequisite for changing to another therapy.
