The active substance in Dexilant is dexlansoprazole. Symescital should be used with caution when used concomitantly with CYP2C19 inhibitors (e.g. omeprazole, esomeprazole, fluconazole, fluvoxamine, lansoprazole, ticlopidine). In the light of this information, there is no risk that the use of Dexilant and Symescital would pose a risk to the effectiveness and safety of treatment, especially if there is an interval of at least 3-4 hours between drugs.
